Results: ESSA Track and Field B Regional Final (A)

A fantastic day of high standard athletic competition against 10 other top scoring schools from Round 1.

The Junior Team clinched an overall victory, where first place relied on a great relay run to finish. Well done girls – an outstanding team effort.

Emily Potter scored the highest points for an individual event, achieving 22 points for her 800m run, closely followed by Maisie Pennant and Grace Taylor who both scored 20 points for their 800m run and high jump respectively.

The highest points contribution from two events was Emily Potter with 40 points for 800m and discus, Grace Taylor with 35 points for high jump and 200m, Georgina Evans with 31 points for high jump and 200m and Annabel Pearce with 31 points for 1500m and discus.

The Inter Team faced tough opposition and were narrowly beaten into 6th place.

The highest points scorers in individual events were Gabriella Austin with 20 points for hurdles and Ella McNeill with 20 points for a season’s best in high jump.

The highest points scorers from two events were Ella McNeill with 35 points from high jump and 300m, Gabriella Austin with 34 points from hurdles and long jump, Laura Bunce with 33 points from 100m and javelin and Shannon Motha with 33 points from 800m and javelin.
