Results (A): Berkshire Schools Cross Country Championships

Tuesday 21st January 2014

Well done to all the girls who ran through thick mud whilst competing on Saturday 18 January against all the Berkshire schools at Wellington College.

Jessica Gibbon ran outstandingly in the U19 girls race and came first by quite some margin. She will go on to represent Berkshire at the English Schools Cross Country Championships on March 15.

In the U17 category, Rosie Griffin came 17th and has also been offered a place to represent Berkshire at the English Schools Cross Country Championships. Olivia Dunsheath came 26th, Alanna Rayfield, 27th, Charlotte Stanton, 36th and Annabel Marlow, 41st, out of a starting field of 63 runners. An excellent set of individual results.

The U15 had sufficient girls to enter a team and came third overall. Out of a field of 121 runners, Maisie Pennant came 24th, Bella Bowater, 37th, Alex Griffin, 42nd, Georgie Evans, 43rd, Nia Hudson, 55th, Annie West, 56th, Abigail Sloman, 58th, Ella Harris, 75th, Imogen Williams, 77th, Jodie Powell, 79th, Martha Scott-Knight, 88th and Rachel Green 110th.
