Queen Anne's Raise £500 for MacMillan Cancer Support

Parents, staff and the local community came together for the Queen Anne’s MacMillan coffee morning on Friday 26 September and together raised a fantastic £500 for MacMillan Cancer Support, beating last year’s amount. The school was also delighted to welcome David, who works for MacMillan Cancer Support in the Caversham area.
On offer was a large range of wonderful cakes and biscuits, lovingly baked by pupils and staff, who clearly embraced the baking spirit creating enough refreshments to fill 4 large tables! A fruit cake, donated by the school’s catering company, Thomas Franks, will also be raffled this week to raise even more money for the national charity, who help support people living with cancer and their families.
