National Biology Week at Queen Anne's

From 14-18 October, Queen Anne’s will be celebrating National Biology Week. This week is a celebration of all aspects of the bio-sciences and we are delighted to offer a range of activities for all students to take part in. Please see below for details of our Biology Week events.

Monday 14 October – 12.55pm-1.35pm

Come to the quad (Biology if wet) to visit our Biology themed sweets and cakes stall. Kits to make DNA out of sweets will be available to purchase. Proceeds go to charity.

Tuesday 15 October – All Day

Take part in our famous Biologists quiz—find the famous faces all over the school. Answer sheets available from your biology teacher. Prizes up for grabs!

Wednesday 16 October – 12.55pm-1.35pm

Join the eco-committee in the quad to plant some beautiful flowers to take home.

Thursday 17 October – 12.55pm-1.35pm

Biology Busking in the Quad.

Friday 18 October – 12.30pm-1.30pm

Meet in the lecture theatre at 12.30pm to hear a specialist from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Reading University speak about the courses available and the path to becoming a veterinary scientist.
