Mother And Daughter Evening

Thursday 17th March 2016

L4-U6 pupils and their parents are invited to attend a ‘Mother and Daughter’ celebration charity evening, taking place on Wednesday 20 April from 7.00pm until 9.00pm in the School Hall.

The evening will be an opportunity for girls and their parents to spend some quality time together and to raise money for a worthwhile cause. The chosen charity for the evening will be Berkshire Women’s Aid, a charity which works against abuse and violence providing advice, counselling and places of safety in Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell.

Each table will be made up of 10 people, of whom one parent will be the hostess for the evening. If parents are unable to attend, your daughter is still most welcome to join a table where the hostess will look after her for the evening.

The cost of attending the evening will be £5 per person, which will be donated to Berkshire Women’s Aid. Payment can be made by cheque or in cash. The evening’s entertainment will also include a raffle and if parents would like to offer any donations of raffle prizes, items can brought to Cafe 6 between 7.30am and 9.00am or dropped off at Holmes House directly.

If you would like to reserve a place at the Mother and Daughter Evening on Wednesday 20 April or if you would like to sponsor the event or provide items for the ‘Welcome Packs’, please contact Mrs Debbie Storey, Holmes Housemistress
