Mind the GAP!

Easter Bonnet competition_2

Being a GAP at Queen Anne’s School is a once in a lifetime experience.  You are given so many opportunities to grow as a person.  You never feel alone at Queen Anne’s School as the other GAPs, friendly staff and girls all make you feel so welcome.  There is always lots going on whether it be a trip to an art exhibition in London or making bunting for the houses!

We are given numerous opportunities to get involved in school life including horse riding, rowing and many other exciting options.  The central location of Queen Anne’s makes it easy and affordable to travel to London and throughout England and even to Europe.  We have been so welcomed by the GAPs, who were already at Queen Anne’s, and will really miss them when they leave next term.

We have just received the results of the GAPs Easter Bonnet Competition which was hotly contested! Mrs Harrington, Headmistress, judged the competition and although she found something positive to say about all of our efforts, I was the eventual winner of the competition.  Mrs Harrington particularly liked my idea of connecting Queen Anne’s with back home by hanging eggs from my hat rather than the traditional corks.  We are already looking forward to what next term brings with it being the school’s 120th anniversary.
