On Saturday 11 January we saw a closed weekend where our boarders were able to enjoy a fantastic day of cultural delights with workshops on Chinese lion dancing, Bollywood dance, African drumming, origami, World cuisine and World music.

On Friday 12 January the U4 were visited by QAS Old Girls for an interactive 'World of Work' day. This gave our current girls the opportunity to talk about their career aspirations with girls who have already walked in their footsteps.

Through our BrainCanDo programme, Queen Anne’s School will be working in collaboration with scientists from an organisation called ‘Research Schools International’ on a project exploring the impact of gratitude on student wellbeing.

Prefects, Lori and Fabie (U6) sat down and interviewed three girls, who are currently in the Lower Sixth, to talk about their views since joining the Sixth Form at Queen Anne's. Caitlin, who is a boarder, Amelia, new to the school at the beginning of the academic year and Maya, a day girl, told their perspectives on Sixth Form life.

In November 2017, over 200 of our girls took part in the UK Computational Thinking Challenge run by Oxford University.

On Friday 1 December, the Mandarin students from across the Queen Anne's School community travelled to the Victory Services Club in London for the Speaking Mandarin Competition.

On Thursday 1 February, Queen Anne’s will be hosting its annual Careers, Universities and Gap fair. The evening will run from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and is a fantastic opportunity for students from U4 to U6, together with parents, to start to consider the career path or university that they might wish to follow or consider in the future.
