Know your vocab? Prove it!

Monday 23rd September 2013

To celebrate the European Day of Languages 2013, which takes place on Thursday 26 September, Queen Anne’s Modern Languages Department  are inviting pupils to take part in a competition organised by Vocab Express.

Queen Anne’s will compete with other schools across the UK and pupils can support the school by logging on to Vocab Express and completing as many blocks of words as they can from Thursday 26 September to Wednesday 2 October 2013. The more points that pupils receive, the more points the school will get!

The top 25 students of Queen Anne’s School will be awarded the title of Genius by Vocab Express; there are numerous school and student certificates to play for and the championship will feature French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Urdu, Arabic, Hebrew and Latin competitions.

If pupils are not registered on Vocab Express, please see Mr Rogeon in the Challis block. Pupils will be able to compete on behalf of Queen Anne’s School working on any of the languages above!

Go, allez, vamos,  los, jiā yòu Queen Anne’s School!
