Charity MUFTI Day
Thursday 21st January 2016
On Friday 29 January, pupils at Queen Anne’s will come together for a charity MUFTI Day in order to raise money for charity.
Girls are encouraged to wear an item of red clothing and donate £1.00. All proceeds will go towards the school’s chosen charity, The Kasiisi Porridge Project, and an Indian Orphanage project, suggested by pupils Delilah Bright, Chloe Butterwick and Mimi Oberoi.
During Friday lunchtime, pupils will also have the opportunity to cause a little mischief whilst also raising money for a worthwhile cause. Mr Roman Martin, Teacher of Biology and Rowing, has gracefully nominated himself to take part in a challenge entitled “Tape Mr Martin To The Wall”! Girls will be able to pay £1.00 for a 1 metre strip of duct tape and all the money raised will go towards the Indian Orphanage project.
