Career Talks At Queen Anne's
Thursday 8th January 2015
As part of our active Careers Programme, Queen Anne’s will be running a series of careers talks throughout the course of this term. The talks are open to pupils from all years and will be covering a variety of careers.
On Monday 12 January, from 4.30pm in the Science Centre Computer Room, the first talk of the term will be given by Gary Robinson, a mathematics graduate and partner in an accountancy firm. Gary graduated from Imperial University with a mathematics degree and went on to study a Masters at Loughborough University. He is now qualified as a chartered accountant and is a current partner at Stewart and Co, a chartered accountants and business advisors for Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. Pupils who are interested in a career in mathematics are strongly encouraged to attend and the talk will last for approximately an hour with time for a Q&A session.
Looking ahead, pupils will also have the opportunity to listen to talks from Nicola Murphy on film and media and hear from a representative from Regents Business School. The programme also provides girls with the opportunity to sign up for a visit to the University of Bath.
Further details regarding future career talks will be available on the website.
