U6 see success with drama production of “Noises Off”

Monday 12th February 2018

A very big congratulations to all U6 girls that were involved in the creation of drama production ‘Noises Off’, it was a roaring success with attendance from friends, family and teachers. The girls organised this production entirely themselves with no staff assistance which is a fantastic achievement.

All of their hard work and long hours of rehearsing more than paid off as the girls managed the split second timing, a critical aspect of this fantastic farce, brilliantly. The audience howled in laughter at the comic antics on stage.

All the actors are to be commended and we would like to recognise our U6 Michell ladies, Alice I and Heather, for their fantastic performances. We would like to extend special congratulations to Frankie C and Abi O who were not only marvellous on stage but who also co-directed the play. Well done!!

This farcical comedy proved to be very amusing and entertaining, it was great to also see the entire U6 year group support their peers on their performance. During the interval, the girls were selling refreshments and home baked goods which raised an incredible total just shy of £350 for their chosen charity Me2 Club; a charity enabling children and young people with additional needs and disabilities to partake in extra-curricular activities.
