INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND BOARDING
We warmly welcome pupils from overseas to become part of our excellent boarding community. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes it easy for pupils to settle in to the school and make long lasting friendships, while the group system creates a homely, safe and secure environment. Our boarding houses are modern and comfortable ensuring the girls have an environment in which to relax and socialize together. Pupils meet with their tutors regularly and their welfare is monitored to ensure they are content and working to their full potential. An onsite Medical Centre is also available 24 hours.

The vast majority of our girls secure places at strong Russell Group universities, recognised as the UK’s leading institutions. This is achieved by pupils being guided by personal tutors and receiving extensive advice and support as well as being taught in small class groups. We also have a strong record for gaining Oxbridge places, a process which is overseen by the school’s Oxbridge coordinator.
YEAR 11 AND SHORT TERM
Queen Anne’s offer a limited number of spaces for Year 11 Study as well as other short term stays. We offer a one year focused GCSE programme in Year 11 and short term applications are invited for a minimum of one term. We encourage girls to show a willingness to study and grow within an English boarding environment.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Supporting the academic work, we offer a diverse range of clubs and activities, seven days a week. These enrich pupils’ development, helping them to learn, understand and pursue interests that lie beyond academic study. The school day begins at 8am and ends at 6.30pm and includes time to complete prep (homework). All pupils take part in the evening and weekend activities programme, from dancing to rowing to shopping excursions – there is something for everyone!
