ACADEMIC RESULTS
A Level results 2007

2007 A level results were again excellent:
- 51% A grades
- 73% A to B grades
- 36% of candidates gained 3 straight As or more
- A high percentage of students gained A levels in maths and sciences
- Maths achieved 93% A and B grades
- Chemistry achieved 92% A and B grades
- Modern languages achieved 100% grade As
- Art achieved 92% A and B grades
- High UCAS scores achieved places at the UK’s most highly rated universities.
GCSE results 2007

The overall standard of GCSE results for 2007 were again extremely high:
- 69% A* and A grades
- A new record of 92% A* to B grades
- Biology, chemistry, art, music, drama, Latin and German produced 100% A* to B grades
- English and English Literature achieved 96% and 98% A* to B grades
- Maths gained 96% A* to B grades
- 22% of students gained straight A*s and As
- QAS GCSE science student gained 11 A*s and achieved one of the top 5 scores in the UK for physics.
