Head of Mathematics (with the additional responsibility of leading STEM)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified and experienced Head of Mathematics to run a successful department and to teach up to A-Level and Oxbridge entrance within this academically selective and dynamic school.

The Head of Mathematics will take responsibility for the leadership and strategic direction of Mathematics within the School and the overall direction of the department.  The Head of Mathematics will, in addition, lead the STEM initiative.

Events Manager (Maternity Cover)

The successful candidate will play a key role in organising a wide range of events including Speech Day, Sports Day, Open Mornings, Prep School Events, Workshops, Conferencing and lectures. In addition the candidate will manage and organise all external lettings of the school premises and develop strong relationships with all existing and potential clients.

This role will include some evening and weekend working.

School Porter

We are looking for a hard working School Porter who will be required to work Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with some evening and weekend working. You will be flexible, reliable and possess good communication skills. The position will report in to the Events Manager and will be responsible for setting up and breaking down school events, moving furniture, minor maintenance tasks and some cleaning as required.

Graduate Assistant

Required for January 2018

We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Assistant who is interested in a career either in education or in pastoral care. This position is very varied and fulfilling and offer a great opportunity for a graduate interested in the pastoral care of young people.

The position will be residential with accommodation available for use during the holiday times also. No charge is made for the accommodation or food during the school term.

We are keen to hear from post-graduates or students who graduated in the summer 2017.

The primary role of the Graduate Assistant is to work within the boarding environment to get to know the girls and build up a relationship of trust with them. The Graduate Assistant will be expected to be ready to give support to the House staff team. In addition, they will have other responsibilities in school depending on her areas of expertise and interests.
