Teacher of French and Spanish (Maternity cover)

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of French and Spanish to teach French up to A-Level and Spanish to KS3 within this academically selective and dynamic school.

Theatre and Sound Technician

Casual Basis

We are seeking to employ a Theatre and Sound Technician to provide technical support for events, productions and concerts on a flexible basis. The role’s hours will relate to external hires and internal school productions. Working hours can take place at varying times of the year and the length of sessions can vary.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide appropriate technical production support for the School’s performances, concerts and activities
  • Work across multiple teams to support the delivery of a number of artistic, academic and venue hire activities
  • Set up and operate lighting, sound and multimedia equipment
  • Provide maintenance support for all relevant technical equipment, machines, furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • Ensure all equipment is stored safely and is accessible to others when absent
  • Provide technical assistance to external users.

Shift Supervisor

Morgan Sports Centre at Queen Anne’s School

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic part time Shift Supervisor. The position involves assisting with preparation for events, classes and some administrative duties including data entry. The facilities are presented to the highest levels of cleanliness and comfort. The successful candidate will be aware of all Health & Safety issues within the Sports Centre, attend regular training sessions and promote a positive image of the Sports Centre.

The ideal person must have a current First Aid Certificate and either possess a NPLQ or be prepared to take part in a course in the near future.  Manual handling training will be provided.

School Porter

The Role

We are looking for a hard working School Porter who will be required to work Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with some evening and weekend working. You will be flexible, reliable and possess good communication skills. The position will report in to the Events Manager and will be responsible for setting up and breaking down school events, moving furniture, minor maintenance tasks and some cleaning as required.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a positive and an enthusiastic manner to this key role in the school
  • Have the ability to work in a flexible manner
  • Have a high degree of physical fitness in order to lift awkward and heavy items
  • Have good spoken English and ability to understand written instructions
  • Have good and demonstrable organisational skill
  • Will ensure the safe keeping of all equipment and materials for events
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines
  • Be willing to attend training
  • Possess a sense of humour

The Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated cleaner to join the team.

The successful candidate will be expected to work 45 hours per week, based 9 hours every day, Monday to Friday. A 6am/ 6.30am start time would be preferable but is negotiable. The position is a term time contract plus additional weeks (37 weeks a year).

The ideal person will:

  • have relevant cleaning experience
  • have the ability to operate relevant machinery
  • understand and carry out both written and oral instructions
  • have the ability to work without direct supervision
  • have flexibility to work in a team or stand alone
  • be prepared to take part in essential training

School Cleaner

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated cleaner to join the team.

The successful candidate will be expected to work 35 hours per week, based 7 hours every morning, Monday to Friday. A 6am/ 6.30am start time would be preferable but is negotiable. The position is a term time contract plus additional weeks (37 weeks a year).

The ideal person will:

  • have relevant cleaning experience
  • have the ability to operate relevant machinery
  • understand and carry out both written and verbal instructions
  • have the ability to work without direct supervision
  • have flexibility to work in a team or stand alone
  • be prepared to take part in essential training

Examination Invigilators

We are always interested to hear from applicants who are interested in joining our exam invigilation team for during examination periods. The invigilation team oversee the examination hall and provide access arrangements such as scribes and readers for pupils who require additional help and support.

Training is provided and so no previous experience is necessary.
