Admissions Assistant

The role

We are seeking to appoint a highly capable Admissions Assistant who will ideally already have experience or a strong interest in this field. The successful candidate will work closely with the Registrar to manage all initial enquiries from families through to the pupils starting at school. This role will require highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to meet expectations.   The successful candidate will assist the Registrar and liaise with the Marketing team to achieve our agreed objectives of new enrolments at all entry points during the year.

The successful candidate will:

Be confident, organised and have meticulous attention to detail. A high level of written skills and IT knowledge with a good understanding of independent education is essential.

Teacher of Mathematics

Graduate Assistant


For September 2018

We are seeking to appoint a number of Graduate Assistants who are interested in a career either in education or in pastoral care. These positions are very varied and fulfilling and offer great opportunities for graduates interested in the pastoral care of young people. The positions will be residential with accommodation available for use during the holiday times also. No charge is made for the accommodation or food during the school term.

We are keen to hear from post-graduates or students due to graduate in the summer 2018.

The primary role of the Graduate Assistant is to work within the boarding environment to get to know the girls and build up a relationship of trust with them. The Graduate Assistants will be expected to be ready to give support to the House staff team.   In addition, they will have other responsibilities in school depending on her areas of expertise and interests.

Shift Supervisor for Morgan Sports Centre at Queen Anne’s School

Immediate Start Possible

We are looking for an enthusiastic part time Shift Supervisor. The position involves assisting with preparation for events, classes and some administrative duties including data entry. The facilities are presented to the highest levels of cleanliness and comfort. The successful candidate will be aware of all Health & Safety issues within the Sports Centre, attend regular training sessions and promote a positive image of the Sports Centre.

The ideal person must have a current First Aid Certificate and either possess a NPLQ or be prepared to take part in a course in the near future.  Manual handling training will be provided.

Theatre and Sound Technician

We are seeking to employ a Theatre and Sound Technician to provide technical support for events, productions and concerts on a flexible basis. The role’s hours will relate to external hires and internal school productions. Working hours can take place at varying times of the year and the length of sessions can vary.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide appropriate technical production support for the School’s performances, concerts and activities
  • Work across multiple teams to support the delivery of a number of artistic, academic and venue hire activities
  • Set up and operate lighting, sound and multimedia equipment
  • Provide maintenance support for all relevant technical equipment, machines, furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • Ensure all equipment is stored safely and is accessible to others when absent
  • Provide technical assistance to external users.

Examination Invigilators

We are always interested to hear from applicants who are interested in joining our exam invigilation team for during examination periods. The invigilation team oversee the examination hall and provide access arrangements such as scribes and readers for pupils who require additional help and support.

Training is provided and so no previous experience is necessary.
