Taster Days

We run a series of taster days each term for both 11+ and 13+ entry. The aim is for girls to experience a taste of what it's like to be at Queen Anne's. It offers an ideal opportunity for prospective pupils to familiarise themselves with the school, get to know teachers and students at Queen Anne's, and also girls who are applying to join the school in the same year group. The days are run on an informal basis - tracksuits rather than uniforms - and include a programme of lessons, lunch and activities. Because the taster days are so popular places are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

In addition to our taster days a boarding taster weekend takes place each term, specifically tailored to girls who are considering boarding as an option. The girls arrive at Queen Anne's on Saturday morning and join a boarding house, taking part in weekend activities with the other girls. On Sunday, they attend the Chapel service after breakfast and are ready to go home at 11am. As with taster days, these boarding weekends are extremely popular, so the same first-come-first-served allocation process is followed. Click here to book online.
