Queen Anne's sixth form has approximately 100 girls, evenly divided between the lower and upper sixth. It makes a valuable contribution to the school, maintaining at the same time,  its own identity and independence.

Sixth Form students work hard, aim high and take advantage of all the extra-curricular opportunities on offer, such as the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, Young Enterprise, Critical Thinking AS, public speaking and LAMDA examinations. They also have fun, enjoying more informal relationships with teaching staff, and forging often life-long friendships.

Tutor Groups
On entering sixth form girls are assigned to a lower sixth tutor group with a maximum size of ten girls, which meets daily. The tutor will work closely with each individual student over the two years of the Sixth Form, monitoring her academic progress, overseeing her personal well-being, and in cooperation with the Head of Sixth Form, Mr Owen, leading her through the complex process of applying for University, or for an art Foundation diploma.

Individual Support
At Queen Anne's we pride ourselves on the network of support systems that we provide for our Sixth Form students. Every girl has different needs and different ambitions; teaching staff are always available to provide extra explanations when the going gets tough, to point students in the direction of helpful resources, and to set additional assignments where necessary. The House staff, along with form tutors and the Head of Sixth Form are always on hand to provide support and a kindly ear when more personal issues arise.
