Sixth form facilities
Queen Anne's is set in a 35 acres campus just north of Reading town centre and within easy reach of the train station and London. The school is well known for its excellent facilities which combine traditional brick buildings with contemporary architecture. these include:
- Two sixth form houses (lower sixth and upper sixth) which are very well equipped for the girls'needs. There are large sitting rooms, communal kitchens and dining rooms, which are ideal for relaxing and socialising, and each student is allocated a study/bedroom with a desk, study facilities and wireless internet access.
- Excellent two-storey library building with separate sixth form study rooms
- Large sports centre with fitness suite, competition standard sports hall, squash courts, a climbing wall, mirrored dance studio and a separate, 25 metre indoor swimming pool
- Lacrosse pitches, athletics track, 14 tennis courts, 7 netball courts
- Performing Arts Centre with 250 seat theatre, green room and light & sound control room
- 20 music practice rooms
- Modern languages centre with newly fitted language laboratory
- Seven laboratory science centre with dedicated floors for physics, biology and chemistry and a large sixth form ICT suite
- New art and design centre with facilities for life drawing, 3D art, ceramics, textiles, computer graphics, digital video editing, photography, art history, and dedicated studios for AS and A Level students where they can work uninterrupted
