Various scholarships are awarded, based on merit, to encourage the promotion of excellence across all aspects of the school's life.

The school offers scholarships for entrance at 11+, 13+ and sixth form. Awards are made for academic excellence, sports, drama, art, music, and all-round. Combined awards may be made in recognition of excellence in more than one area.

Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of results from 11+ Common Entrance, 13+ Entrance Exams, and the Sixth Form Scholarship Examination. Other Scholarship Awards are made according to performance in tests set by the school.

The school will normally award an academic scholarship of up to 50% of day fees and two other academic scholarships of up to 20% of day fees in each year. Other awards of 30% of day fees will be made for music, drama, art and sport.

Bursaries

Bursary assistance is available to parents of girls entering Queen Anne's where prospective parents would otherwise not be able to send their daughters to the school. Our aim in offering this assistance is to increase access to independent education.

Queen Anne's can also offer financial support to parents of girls already at the school whose financial circumstances worsen unexpectedly.

All applications for Bursaries are considered on the basis of individual circumstances and are means tested.
