Scholarships
Foundation scholarships are awarded each year at 11+ and 13+ following an examination held in the early Spring. External candidates at 11+ will be automatically invited to sit the academic scholarship papers if they achieve high marks in Common Entrance. Other candidates should apply to the Registrar.

The top academic scholarship of the year is valued at a maximum of 50% of day fees for each year the scholar is at Queen Anne’s School; further scholarships of up to 20% will be awarded depending on the performance of candidates.

Candidates may also apply for scholarships in art, music, drama, sport and all-round ability.

All scholarships are awarded for excellence.

It is expected that scholars will remain at Queen Anne’s for the sixth form as the scholarships continue until the end of the U6 year.

Sixth Form Scholarships are offered each year up to the value of half tuition fees and these are competed for by both external and internal candidates.  The examinations are held at school on November of the year preceding entry into the sixth form.

Further details of all scholarship examinations may be obtained from Mrs Gallie, Registrar.

Bursaries
Bursaries are available where parents wish to send their daughter to Queen Anne’s, but would otherwise not be able to afford to do so, and are means tested.  For details on how to apply, please write to Mr E Hellings, Director of Finance and Administration.
