Tim Bowler, author, visited the school for writing workshops with the lower school. He spoke to the girls about how he began as a writer and focused on creative writing techniques. Tim will also judge Queen Anne's Creative Writing Competition.
To celebrate World Book Day, girls were invited to come to school dressed as a literary character. A huge effort was made and the turn out was excellent, with characters ranging from Alice in Wonderland, The Lost Boys with Peter Pan, a couple of Paddington Bears, The Hungry Caterpillar and a few scary characters from Harry Potter.
