St Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians
As part of The Oratory School's 150th Anniversary celebrations, Queen Anne's Consort Choir joined over 100 choristers for the St Cecilia's Day Concert on Sunday 15 November.

St Cecilia's Day is held to celebrate the feast of St Cecilia, the patron saint of music and musicians.

Julian McNamara, Director of Music at The Oratory, conducted The Dream of Gerontius, written by the school's Founder, John Henry Cardinal Newman, and set to music by Elgar.

The performance was accompanied by the Oxford Chamber Orchestra and featured soloists, Hilary Cox, Henry Herford and Alistair Thompson.
