QAS has got talent


In celebration of the school's 116th Birthday on Ascension Day, Young Enterprise company, Ace, organised a talent show, ‘QAS has got talent'. The audience were treated to a variety of performances including singing and dancing acts, musicians, a lacrosse team choir - 'skilfully' conducted by Head of PE, Wendy Reynolds - and a gymnastics team of Housemistresses!

Joint winners were soloists Ellie MacDougall and Harriet McCallion.  The two teacher acts, French teacher, Antoine Rogeon, who sang (in French) and played guitar and the 'agile' Housemistresses were also awarded joint first place.

The panel of judges included celebrity guest Phillip Schofield, Julia Harrington, Headmistress, and Mark Richards, Deputy Head - plus Ant and Dec sent a message wishing the girls good luck!
