Drama Showcase

Student Head of Drama, Georgia Hudson, and lower five GCSE drama students performed in a special Drama Showcase on Thursday 18 February. 

Their work included a dramatized performance of the poem Jabberwocky and performances of a devised piece based on the play Too Much Punch for Judy, which is a dark and intense piece about a drink-driving fatality.  The showcase concluded with two performances devised from the play Our Day Out, a comic piece about a group of under-privileged children on a school outing and all the fun and mischief they get up to.

Other dramatic excitement coming soon includes participation in this year's Woodley Arts Festival in March. Amelia de Normann, Angelica Hill, Jess Webber and Molly Schofield will be representing Queen Anne's and hoping to bring home spoils of victory in their various categories for acting.

The drama department's Middle School Production this term is The Demon Headmaster, which takes place on Thursday 18, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March at 7.30pm in the Performance Arts Centre.
