Mark Bushby, Assistant Music Director, took part in a choral evensong performance, broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 during half term.

Mark, who studied at Trinity College of Music, sings regularly for the choir of All Saints Margaret Street and with a number of choral groups in and around London, including London Voices, The Sixteen, Philharmonia Voices and Opera Rara.  Mark's repertoire ranges from early renaissance to contemporary music. His solo repertoire includes Purcell's King Arthur, Jonathan Harvey's Passion and Resurrection, Orff's Carmina Burana, MacMillan's Seven Last Words on the Cross, Mendelssohn's Ave Maria.  He also gives regular performances of Haydn's Nelson Mass, Bach's St John Passion, Christmas Oratorio and the Mass in B minor, Stainer's Crucifixion, Monteverdi's Vespers and Handel's Messiah.

Mark gave a moving solo performance of verses from Amazing Grace, which was specially arranged by John Padley, Director of Music, at the school's thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey in October.  He will also sing with Queen Anne's Chamber Choir on their choral tour of Paris with Shiplake College in the spring term, including a performance at Notre Dame.
