All medical care at Queen Anne's is supervised by our very experienced nurse, Sister Sarah Eatwell, who lives on site and works in the school's well-equipped medical centre. Sister Eatwell is available for consultation on a ‘drop-in' basis at certain times of the day, and is on call 24 hours a day in case of emergency. Sister Eatwell is able to offer confidential advice and support on a wide range of medical matters, and keeps a close eye on the general health of all pupils. She is of course more than happy to speak to parents at any time, either over the telephone or in person, if concerns should arise.

The school also works closely with a local female GP, who holds twice weekly surgeries at school for girls who need to see a doctor. The school GP is a partner of a busy practice not far away, which offers a full range of services including blood tests and travel vaccinations. If the girls need to see a doctor outside of designated school surgery times, or require specialist tests or other treatment, then staff are always available to escort them to the surgery.
