Ffyler is a one of the three junior day houses. There are four staff that work in the House, as well as teaching lessons around the school. Mrs Bushby, the House Mistress, is very kind and helps with prep and problems in school. She is up in house after school and at lunchtime on some days. The Deputy Head is Mrs Hough-Robbins. She likes to chat and also helps with prep. Ffyler loves to take part in House-events such as house drama or house music, but we don't always win! Almost everyone signs up and audition and everyone will take part and try their best while adding a bit more character. Ffyler has one big sitting room where you can sit down and chat or do prep or even play on the wii. You can also just drink hot chocolate and read a book. There are two rooms on the second floor for prep and at the bottom of the staircase is a locker room. In the sitting room there are year boards where you can pin up posters of your favorite pop stars, books, or even things about your weekend. Our House mascot is a giant blue and purple teddy which is usually found lounging in Mrs Bushby's office. Sometimes a few of the seniors bring up biscuits or cakes after cookery and share the treats with the whole house. |
