Saturday 12 June
All rowers to meet at 09:00 today
There will be no trampolining due to County athletics officiating
All other activities are as usual
From September 2009, Saturday morning school became optional and more flexible, with a full and varied activities programme on offer for both girls and parents.
These range from activities that can be attended either as one off sessions or attended each week, such as football and family tennis, to courses that involve slightly more commitment and may last from 5 weeks to a whole term, for example National Pool Lifeguard and an Introduction to Fashion & Textiles. There will also be a range of academic lessons / tutorials, drama, music and sport workshops being taught as well.
Some girls may choose to be involved for the whole morning, whilst others may choose to come in for an hour or so: some girls may want to come every week, whilst others may choose to come once a month.
It is an exciting change to Saturday mornings and the programme offers opportunities for everyone.
You will find below links to an outline of planned activities for the spring term and a sign-up slip.
All girls must sign into and out of school, with the member of staff in the library.
