The Chapel is at the heart of the school.  Positioned as it is, next to the dining room and opening out of the main school corridor, it is integral to the building and opens up each day.  We meet together as a school community.  A thought for the day is presented through the week by the Headmistress, the Chaplain, a house and a member of staff, and each Friday we have a rousing hymn practice and learn repertoire.

Liturgical services are held on Sundays for boarders and we follow the festivals of the church's year with visiting speakers on most Sundays.  Harvest Festival, Ash Wednesday and Ascension Day are specially marked.

What is said and done in the Chapel goes out into the corridors and classes and is picked up in discussion and the corporate life of the school.  It is there that we learn to listen, reflect and prepare to play out our part in the world.
