To supplement learning in the classroom, students are involved in a wide range of stimulating activities to enrich their academic study. These include CREST Awards (Creativity in Science and Technology), LAMDA Awards (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), Mathematical Challenges, Salter's Institute of Chemistry Camps annd the Engineering Education Scheme.

Opportunities to travel and gain first-hand knowledge and experience also greatly enhance the girls' academic study programmes. Recent excursions have included:

• Physics trip to CERN, Geneva
• Geography field trips to Sicily and Iceland
• Language study tour of Madrid
• Art History tour of museums in Paris
• Charity visit to Bahowo, Indonesia
