The Times League Tables 2010: A Level and GCSE Results

The Times League Tables show GCSE and A Level results for state and independent schools England for examinations taken in 2009.  However, these tables do not include results of International GCSE, which some private schools, including Queen Anne's, take in preference to GCSEs.

This means that some of the nation's top schools score a zero in the tables for the percentage of pupils who have gained five or more IGCSEs. Queen Anne's students sit the IGCSE in mathematics, which in our opinion is more rigorous and a better preparation for A Level mathematics and further mathematics, which many of our girls go on to study. Mathematics IGCSE results for 2009 achieved 97% A*- C and 86% A* - B grades.
