11+ entry
Entrance to the school is through Common Entrance examinations in Year 6, which take place in January of the year of entry.
Once girls are registered, we invite them to an Assessment Day in November of the year before entry. The day forms part of the entrance procedure, and provides an informal and relaxed opportunity for us to get to know potential pupils and for them to get to know each other, and us. The girls sit some straightforward tests, including verbal reasoning and group interview, but they also take part in fun, enjoyable activities. Feedback is given to both parents and schools. Girls who perform satisfactorily may be offered reserved places subject to Common Entrance or our own entrance examination results.

Common Entrance
Once girls are registered, in autumn of the year before entry the registrar will send you information from ISEB, the body that administers Common Entrance. In circumstances where for some reason a girl is unable to sit Common Entrance, she may sit our own examination papers in English, Mathematics and Science.
The deadline for Common Entrance registrations with ISEB is 1 December 2010.
